Description polychrome; "San Ildefonso" written in pencil on the bottom of the bowl; decoration begins at the rim and extends to the middle of the bowl; no decoration at the base of the bowl; decoration is an abstract geometric pattern, Chapman, in The Pottery of San Ildefonso Pueblo, refers to the design as "an adjoining dynamic motifs pendant from upper banding lines (pg. 182 - corresponds to figure d, Plate 113, pg. 183)."
